The 5th International Exhibition and Competition of Contemporary Arts
was held on 14th April 2009 to 22nd April 2009

Amira de Maistre won second prize in the classical painting category "Portraits" for her painting "Portrait of Irina Pavlova".

A photograph of the painting has been published in the annual international catalogue "New Faces In Arts". The catalogue includes images of works of more than 1,000 authors.

The jury was the Moscow Artists' Union, Russian Culture Fund, Moscow Museum of National Graphics, Moscow Committee of Culture, Moscow Administration and the NextArt Foundation.

The project is a unique one in which talented people from more than 20 European and other countries are able to present their works.

The group of prized artists consists of 15 persons from 1000 competitors and 20 European countries plus English language countries.

The second prize won by Amira de Maistre is a journey of two weeks at the House of Artists "ROMANOVO"

Creation of the House of Artists "ROMANOVO" where the group of prize winning artists will stay in May.


The house of creation "Romanovo" is situated on the Volga town Tutaev (left bank). Ancient wooden house (1830 year). Reconstruction since 1999 till now. Groups from one to ten people are accepted. We organize tourist journeys to Uglich, Yaroslavl, Tutaev (right side), Rybinsk, Kostroma, Vologda, Suzdal and Vladimir. Voyages through the Volga.
